Moreton Bay PrideFest | Moreton Bay PrideFest - 2023 Recap

Accessibility & Inclusion

Accessible & Unisex Toilets

Pridefest is all about inclusivity, and that means making sure everyone feels comfortable! We'll have accessible restrooms available throughout the festival, along with well-maintained unisex toilets. No matter your gender identity or accessibility needs, you can relax and enjoy the festivities!

Accessible Parking

We're rolling out the rainbow carpet for everyone at Pridefest! Accessible parking spaces will be available for those who need them. Be sure to display your disability permit upon arrival, and our friendly staff will direct you to the designated spots. Let's celebrate together!

Accessible ATM

Pridefest is committed to making the festival accessible to all. We'll have wheelchair-friendly ATMs on site. You can access your cash easily from the Info tent. We want everyone to feel included in the PrideFest celebration!

Accessible Viewing Platform

Thanks to the sponsorship of Endeavour Foundation, Pridefest is proud to offer an accessible viewing platform! This platform will provide a prime spot to enjoy the festival's main stage with clear sightlines, perfect for attendees using wheelchairs or those who simply prefer a different vantage point.

Quiet Zone / Low Sensory Place

Pridefest is all about celebrating love and acceptance, but we understand sometimes you might need a break from the excitement. Our friends at Early Start Learning will be helping us to run a quiet zone/low sensory space, offering a calming and relaxing environment within the festival. This space is perfect for anyone who needs a moment of peace, including those with sensory sensitivities or those attending with young children.

Auslan Interpreters

PrideFest is committed to creating an inclusive space for everyone! We're proud to have Auslan interpreters signing live on the main stage, ensuring the festival's main acts are accessible to the Deaf and hard of hearing community. So come sign, dance, and celebrate Pride with us!

Guide Dog Event Audit

Get ready for an inclusive celebration! Guide Dogs Australia is lending a paw to improve accessibility at Pridefest. They'll be conducting a comprehensive accessibility audit, sniffing out areas for improvement to ensure everyone can enjoy the festivities. Their recommendations will then be passed on to the event organizers’, paving the way for a more accessible and welcoming Pridefest for all.
