Moreton Bay PrideFest | Pridefest 2024

Y'ALL SHOWED UP!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ATTENDING PRIDEFEST 2024!

Moreton Bay, YOU DID THAT! We painted the city rainbow for the second year running with Moreton Bay PrideFest, and let's just say, the vibes were immaculate. Thousands of you gorgeous souls descended upon Pine Rivers Park on June 8th, proving that when it comes to inclusivity and good vibes, Moreton Bay is the destination.

With a crowd almost hitting 4,000, we weren't just here to party, we were here to spread glitter and rainbows.

Samantha Jade, Kween Kong, Art Simone – the stage was ON FIRE! 🔥 Add in the Rollabae Skate Rink, the One Love Zone overflowing with  20+ community stalls and activations, Slay Lane Markets serving up LGBTQIA+ owned and allied small businesses, and a Quiet Zone for when you need to recharge- it was more than just a festival, it was being wrapped up in a huge hug of community

WELCOME TO MORETON BAY’S BIGGEST LGBTIQA+ CELEBRATION

Moreton Bay PrideFest has a vision to make Moreton Bay a happier, healthier, safer, and more culturally rich and diverse place for the LGBTIQA+ community.

We aim to empower the current and future generations to be their true selves and feel accepted and proud of who they are of their gender identify or sexuality. We aspire to be a safer, more inclusive future for our community.

Moreton Bay is the third largest local government in Australia and is home to 450,000 residents. This number is projected to exceed 690,000 within the next 20 years (this means our population will be greater than in Tasmania). With a growing LGBTIQA+ community calling the region home, it’s alarming to think there are limited support services, dedicated organisations, or events catering to this community. Thanks to the City of Moreton Bay for leading the way, we’re on a mission to change this!

Moreton Bay PrideFest is presented by City of Moreton Bay and delivered by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism
